I want to launch my new extender setup using mywifiext.net smart wizard. But my extender does not have Ethernet port. What shall I do?

You can also launch new extender setup using mywifiext.net setup wizard, even if your NETGEAR extender does not have Ethernet port.
NETGEAR puts great emphasis on product quality and user’s ease.
That’s why when they are providing extender devices such as WN100RP, which does not have Ethernet port, they had provided with other way out to its users, who want to install their new extender using manual method.
As we all know that to install NETGEAR range extender using manual method, we need to establish connection between a device (which we will use for installing our NETGEAR extender, such as computer) and NETGEAR extender, manually. For this normally we inject Ethernet wire at Ethernet port of both the devices.
If user had bought an extender which does not have Ethernet port and on the other hand if  network router also not have WPS button, then this may lend the user into great trouble.
To avoid such situation NETGEAR has given us procedure by following which we can install our NETGEAR range extender by mywifiext.net smart wizard. Steps involved for it are:

  1.     Firstly, you will be needed to reset your extender to factory default settings.
  2.      Establish the connection between your device and NETGEAR extender by Wi-Fi
  3.    Further steps remain same as with extender device having Ethernet port. That means firstly to login into www.mywifiext.net setup page by entering default credentials

    Username.: admin
     Password: passwor

4    Selecting Setup and then Wireless settings
5    Here after doing required changes click on Apply Settings

By this your NETGEAR range extender that does not have Ethernet port will also get installed using www.mywifiext.net smart wizard
